Skin Tightening at VS MedSpa
RF (radiofrequency) skin tightening is a technique that uses radio frequency energy to heat tissue and stimulate collagen production, to reduce the appearance of fine lines, UV damage, and loose, sagging skin. Common areas to treat are: faces, necks, and tummies.
What is Skin Tightening?
The radiofrequency skin tightening face and neck treatment and radiofrequency skin tightening body treatment utilize a Radio-Frequency (RF) system which uses a triple action mechanism that simultaneously tightens the skin and reduces the appearance of cellulite as well as stretch marks.
Radiofrequency (RF) energy heats the subcutaneous fat tissue in the localized treatment area, accelerating natural metabolism of the fat cells. It also heats collagen fibers in the dermis layer, causing them to contract and produce new collagen over time. This results in wrinkle reduction and immediate tightening of the skin. Collagen production continues to increase over time.
Radio-frequency skin tightening is best recommended for areas where loose and sagging skin is apparent and a redefining of the skin’s elasticity is desired.
How Does Skin Tightening Work?
RF skin tightening works by combining two effective actions – radiofrequency (RF) energy and dynamic muscle activation (DMA). These techniques work simultaneously and use a single applicator with multiple electrodes. The applicator has built-in safe default parameters. These can be adjusted according to individual patient needs and the specific body area being treated.
The key advantage of RF skin tightening is that is uses three or more electrodes which allows for greater delivery of the waves, allowing for a more targeted and deeper penetration.
A typical treatment will usually last 10-60 minutes, with sessions recommended every four weeks, and 6-10 sessions are usually recommended in a single treatment program. The process is relatively pain-free, but some patients experience redness in the treated area for about an hour after, as well as swelling for 24-48 hours after. Results are typically seen immediately after treatment and can last for years if maintained properly.
The process uses low-frequency waves that, when they come into contact with the skin, cause vibrations that cause the skin to tighten in response thereby making wrinkles and pores appear smaller.
Skin Tightening for Face, Neck and Body
Radiofrequency skin tightening treatment for Face & Neck (from $189)
This treatment effectively boosts collagen production in the dermal layer. Focused RF energy heats the collagen fibers causing them to contract, resulting in immediate skin tightening and smoothening. In addition, fibroblasts’ metabolism is accelerated, leading to collagen regeneration and long-term skin firming.
Radiofrequency skin tightening treatment for Neck (from $109)
Tighten and smooth the skin on your neck area to address signs of aging and sagging with RF collagen rejuvenating technology. Focused RF energy heats the collagen fibers in the dermal layer of your neck area, causing them to contract, resulting in immediate skin tightening and smoothening. The process also encourages collagen regeneration, leading to longer-term results.
Radiofrequency skin tightening treatment for Body
Reduce the appearance of your stretch marks and achieve long-term body shaping with radio-frequency technology. TriLipo stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin in the skin. The new collagen creates a homogenous layer that covers the stretch marks and the new elastin restores lost elasticity. The triple action of TriLipo technology consists of RF deep volumetric heating combined with internal muscle contraction and external mechanical force which together yield maximum fat removal and lymphatic drainage as well as skin tightening. The TriLipo triple action effect is visible from the first treatment.
